Motorhead
Better Motorhead Than Dead - Live at Hammersmith

Ah Motorhead... How I love to relax in front of the fire with my herbal tea and the soothing sounds of Lemmy, Phil, and Mikkey. To celebrate 30 years of ass kicking, Motorhead has released a live recording of their 30th anniversary show that took place on June 16 2005. It’s everything you would hope it to be; loud, full of attitude, and 23 killer tracks displaying the ass kicking awesomeness that has sustained them all these years.

24 albums and 3 hits/rarities collections later Motorhead still rocks just as hard as ever, and about the only way to really experience this (short of seeing them live), is to get your hands on this album. Lemmy is 60 years old but you would not believe it, he still rocks with the vim and vigor of a pissed off teenager. I am putting Motorhead back on the top of my “do not meet in a dark alley” list. If they where my neighbors my wife would probably force us to move because “it’s what’s best for the children”.

After you buy and listen repeatedly to this album, take some time and visit their web site and read up on the bands rich history and amazing career. Or check out the upcoming action figure of MOTORHEAD's Lemmy Kilmeister.

Key Tracks: (as if there not all key tracks!) Ace of Spades, Killed by Death, In The Name of Tragedy
