From Autumn To Ashes
Holding A Wolf By The Ears

Can you imagine what you would experience if you actually held a Wolf By the Ears? The fear, the sweat that would pour from your brow, and the energy that would pound your heart to dangerous and never imagined levels all would mix like forbidden liquor during prohibition. FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES has succeeded in such a experience with this title that  boldly presents the groups new front man- drummer Francis Mark.

After 6 years and 4 records, FATA will turn metal fans inside out this time around. There is a piercing feel within Mark’s vocals that conveys the perfect depth into the amazingly painted metaphor this album presents. Opener “Deth Kult Social Club” explodes into a lyrical tirade that is surrounded by searing guitar flashes and deadly double bass. It sets an important tone that tells the listener to be prepared for lots of flavor. The album doesn’t have any throw aways--each track instead seems to remain focused and polished, interestingly this album has a newly defined range and work ethic with Mark that simply wasn’t present in the past. “Underpass Tutorial” actually beats the listener up and forces anyone questioning FATA’S accomplishments to respect HardCore when celebrated correctly.

FATA has publicly stated that this is their best work since the stunning 2001 debut “Too Bad Your Beautiful”. This record will wound you then wipe the blood away only to cut you wide open again. All of the tracks lay out life and living that is easily identifiable. This album is a new beginning for FATA. A beautiful one.
