The American Black Lung
Sudden Departure Of Vultures
Uprising Records

If you like your music just like your fried chicken then this album will be sure to please. The American Black Lung's lateste release Sudden Departure Of Vultures gievs of a vibe of dirty south, two steppin, good old rock and roll.

The recently released album is a progression from its forerunner And They Rode Their Weapons Into War. The Arizona based quintet has compiled a solid group of songs that are a mature and logical next step in their musical journey. Influenced by genres such as grunge rock, garage band, and a hint of metal, the thick melodic riffs are a unified assault on listeners.

The ABL considers themselves musical connisuers, and their variety of influences is apperant in every track of the new album. From creative yet understandable guitars, to vocals that emit an adreneline rush, a variety of textures, flavors, and influences are embraced. Quite successfully I would like to add.
