If Rob Zombie and Janet Jackson had an abortion and
it lived, and then it
was raised by P.O.D. and the Violent Femmes, but they
worked all the time
and 50 Cent and Ice Cube were their day care providers,
you would have to
name it HED P.E.
Wonderfully eclectic and dark, the music is very
powerful in its complicated
simplicity. One minute you're getting freaked out
by some killer spooky
samples, then you're getting you're dreads yanked
out by some brutal Rasta,
then you get bitch slapped by hardcore rap, then its
skate punk, then its
hard rock and samples, and around and around you go.
They have an intimate relationship with the F-bomb
as they rage against the
social situations present on our planet today. If
you are expecting this
album to sound anything like their previous releases
you'll want to let go
of that preconception. They have pushed the envelope
in every direction with
this album. They show case their wide ranging talents
well in every track.
Key Tracks: RTO, Habeus, Madhouse, Tiananmen Squared
