There are a lot of death metal bands now a days. A band by the name Rose Funeral fits in with the group. Their latest release “Crucify Kill Rot” is just one of those albums with “every song sounds the same” syndrome.

The album starts out with “Crucify Kill Rot” and doesn’t change that much from there on. Each track has a similar death/thrash beat along with the same growling vocals. Some of the tracks offered a few piano harmonics but other than that, everything sounded the same.
Maybe it’s just a little beginner’s bad luck. The band could’ve made a better attempt to vary things a little for this release.

Overall, Crucify Kill Rot could’ve been a lot better. The band could have made a few changes in their songs so they all wouldn’t sound a like.
Don’t get me wrong, this may appeal to the real diehard death metal fans out there but everything could’ve had a little more diversity.

Key Tracks: Every song was too similar to one another.
